Know how an exchange goes before you play it
If I engage this unit against that one, is it a good trade? The Simulation rolls it 3,000 times, both sides resolved together, and answers in points: what you take off, what you lose back, and the net.
The question a tournament asks
Not just the damage: what it costs you, in the points both lists are made of.
-
Both ways at once
What you deal and what you take back, in the same roll: wiping a unit out means taking nothing back.
-
In points, not just wounds
Points denied, points lost and the net, with the damage wasted on overkill: often what decides the exchange.
-
Against a whole list
One of your units against every unit of an opposing list, side by side, to find its best targets.
-
Your rules counted
The rules of your units and Detachment apply; switch on what the Simulation cannot know, like a charge or an objective.
-
Shooting or melee
Pick the phase, and who strikes first: only the survivors strike back.
-
From your lists, or theirs
Start from a list of yours, paste one, or open a team matchup with both lists already loaded.
Read an exchange at a glance
Each target on a row: what you deal on the left, what you take on the right, the net in the middle.
-
Pick a unit, see every trade
Green where the exchange pays, red where it costs you: the best targets of a unit, and the ones to avoid, before the game.
